Education is evidently the panacea. Starting with the most oppressed sections in areas where they are present in alarming numbers, Jago Gaon undertakes spreading education in classes who do not acknowledge its importance, or have been denied the right to it socially.Recognizing that education will be the cure for all that poses problems for the Indian society going forward, Jago gaon makes humble yet worthy contributions in this regard.
1. Jago Gaon Public School (Damoderpur, Bashi Begusarai) :- Started with the objective of providing quality education to the children belonging to the marginalized sections.
2. Little Flower Bal Bharti School (Sarita Vihar New Delhi) :- has been started and run with the objective of providing quality educatio:n to the children belonging to the perpetually marginalized sections of the society. It attempts to spread education misdt the childern whose mother and/or father ar both manual labourers in the national capital region
3. Jago Gaon firmly believes that education is not strictly the premise of the government. It believes in rendering adequate support to all areas that can be possibly supported by it. A typical example is Damoderpur High School in Begusarai, which shockingly has 678 students, and the entire staff constituted one teacher who was also the principal, and who had a rather busy plan owing to a busy education department .Thus we not only run schools in these areas but to volunteer as teachers in schools with such requirements.
4. Another such initiative is the ‘School Chale Aapke Dwar” (School to the doorsteps of students) . realizing that it is not enough to invite students, but it was important to assure education to areas where it is not valued, we took education to their doors. We have increasingly witnessed that many poor students find it impossible to go to a school even when it offers education for free . They work as manual labourers at a rather early age. To take education to them, we do not hope they would come to our schools .We go to their doorsteps convince them to gather education and then educate them. The proactive approach is paying rich dividends.
